The ‘Be Well with Shell’ Weight management program combines the psychology behind negative self beliefs and eating habits with nutritional and well-being guidance to help you reach your desired weight-related goals. You will leave the program with the tools needed for you to manage your lifestyle long term.
A thorough consultation will look at your current diet, health, attitudes and behaviour towards food, exercise routine, relaxation techniques and general well-being, as well as your goals.
I will help you set a clear goal to work towards. We will discuss your nutritional requirements and put together a plan that is gradual and achievable.
A coaching session will be tailored specifically to the needs that have come up from the consultation. This will help identify and release blocks to weight loss and change.
We will create a plan of action covering the number and frequency of sessions as well as setting a time frame for the first goal to be reached. As each goal is achieved we will re-evaluate the sessions and your needs and adjust until you feel that you have reached your desired outcome.
The initial session covers *a full consultation to be completed prior to the session *discussing the consultation, setting goals and adjusting a nutrition plan *45 minutes coaching using our proven tapping techniques *plan of action and homework. Allow 90 minutes for this first appointment.
Progress sessions; Focus on tapping to work on negative beliefs and blocks to your weight-related goals. Please allow 60 minutes for these. As part of the weight management program these sessions have a 15% discount to individual session prices.
During the weight management program ‘Be Well with Shell’ will provide a 15% discount on massage and reflexology to promote relaxation and well-being
Review sessions cover *looking at where you are in achieving your goals * making adjustments to nutrition and exercise plans *setting new goals *45 minutes coaching using the proven tapping method. Allow 90 minutes for the review appointment.
The initial and review session are booked and paid for together and must be no longer than 6 months apart.
Why use tapping with coaching for weight management?
Because with the proper techniques and guidance studies have shown that levels of restraint increase, leading to better choices. Self-control is increased again leading to the opportunity to make better choices. Psychological symptoms start to change such as a decrease increase in anxiety and depression. This then has a link to a reduction in the stress hormone, cortisol. This hormone has a direct link to weight gain so the less you produce the greater the chances of a successful weight loss and management program.
